Section 1: St Pancras – Luton Airport  We see an arrival and a number of departures from St Pancras Station. Every suburban station is then visited to watch the services run through, finishing with the newly completed Luton Airport Parkway. 

Section 2: Luton - Bedford Luton Station sees the stopping services, before we continue with the views at each station to Bedford, where changes at the station are seen over time.

Section 3: Wellingborough - Kettering - Market Harborough Each of these three stations is visited and fast and stopping services are seen in a number of liveries.

Section 4: Leicester Station The busy hub is visited on a number of occasions. We see many services arrive and depart and on one day three HST sets are seen in service in three platforms.

Section 5: Leicester - Nottingham After departing Leicester, services are seen passing through Syston and Barrow-upon-Soar. At Loughborough both through and stopping services are viewed. At the recently opened East Midlands Parkway we see a stopper in each direction. After passing service at Attenborough our train arrives at Nottingham to then depart south again.

Section 6: Derby – Sheffield - Manchester Piccadilly We visit Derby to see services. Chesterfield is our next calling point before terminating at Sheffield. Now returning to Dore, we travel along the Hope Valley, seeing services pass through a number of stations en route. Hazel Grove and Woodsmoor are seen and stops are made at Stockport. At Manchester Piccadilly an arrival and departure are seen.
